2nd Attempt with Santa

We went to one of my favorite places this past weekend, Cabela's, and Santa was there so we tried to get Cameron to sit on Santa's lap again, but it was a no go. We did sit by him as a family and Cameron was ok on mama's lap.

Other than that I have been counting down the days and am super excited Christmas is almost here. I have been trying to be very good to make up for questionable times throughout the year, and mommy says I get an E for Effort.

I am preparing for a busy Christmas schedule. Here is a rundown of what we have coming up:

Busy December!

We have been pretty busy so far this month and have lots to share. Mommy says now with the puppy she knows what it feels like to have a 3rd child, except this one she can keep in a cage :) I had a program at school, dance recital and we saw Santa. So here are some pictures of what we've been doing lately...

Here is me beltin it out at my Christmas program

Here is me at my dance recital

Now for the kicker...Cameron loves Santa, just not in real life. I love Santa too and told him I wanted a horse, a real one!

And Hunter is growing fast. He got to play with Berkeley the other night when mommy and daddy went to mommy's boss' house and had a blast. Daddy wieghed him the other day and weighs over 20 pounds so now I can't carry him around anymore :(

Happy Turkey Day

I love Thanksgiving because I got to stay home from school for 5 days...We had two dinners, one at Aunt Missy's and then one at our house. I didn't eat much, but I guess that is what the adults
look forward to and everyone kept saying they ate too much...

Here are some family pictures at our house

Sights and Sounds at the Lee's

So here is what my Daddy has been working on...

Hunter Is Home!

Well we finally went to pick up Hunter on Saturday and boy was I excited. I have been holding him pretty much since we got him. He is learning quick, but sometimes he thinks my hair and Cameron's diaper are chew toys, so we give him lots of his own toys to chew on. Daddy had to sleep with him the first two nights, but tonight we might move his kennel upstairs in my room so he won't be so lonely.

Right now he is sleeping in a kennel is cousin Tanner used, but we bought a big, HUGE, one that has a divider in it so Cameron and I got in it and just had a blast. Mommy and Daddy couldn't even get us to come out. They said they might buy another one just for us....
And the best thing is Hunter doesn't have to stay home and be sad because Mommy will be taking him to work with her, for awhile at least. She said he is being a very good puppy at work.

The Big Sleepover

Well Friday night I finally got to have my friends over for a sleepover. I had Audrey, Hanna, and Brylyn over around 6:30 Friday night. We had pizza, soda, cookies, and popcorn, and that was just one night. No wonder we stayed up past midnight...Mommy had a craft for us to do and then daddy tried to get us to watch a movie, but we couldn't sit still long enough to watch the whole movie.

Then we all woke up pretty early Saturday morning and were ready to go! We ate breakfast, played ghost hunter (Daddy let us watch a show on the history channel right before bed about this) and then Daddy took us outside for an expedition. We walked for 2 hours through the woods and some of my friends couldn't keep up with us. Mommy fixed us hot cocoa and we ate lunch. Then the friends started to dwindle as it was time for everyone to go. I was sad, and I am pretty sure mommy and daddy were sad to see them go too. But they must not have been too sad since they took us to Grammy and Grandads that night while they went to dinner with their friends..
Oh And me and daddy took a nap after everyone left.

National Leempoons Christmas

So I guess our house is going to have lots of lights on it this Christmas and it will have music playing to the lights. Daddy wants lots of stuff in the yard too, but mommy wasn't too crazy about that. But daddy told her now with us kids around it's more about the fun cheesy stuff so mommy let daddy buy a big blow up thing to put in the yard. Oh and Cameron loves the lights and music...

Angels in Disguise

I love Halloween! It is one of my favorite holidays. Getting candy and dressing up is awesome. After thinking about what to do be I decided to be a glam devil. And Cameron was a darling devil. Mommy said we were angels in disguise. Next year I want to be half angel half devil and then the next year I will be all angel. Daddy said it was evolution.

So first we decorated our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch....Mine was the spider web

Then I had my party at school. Mommy comes to all my parties and helps the other moms. There are 24 kids in my class so it gets pretty crazy. We did apple dunking, crafts and had snacks. It was fun!

Then we went home and got ready to go trick or treating. Since we live in the country, we don't have too many neighbors that we trick or treat except Florence across the street, so we go to mommy's boss' neighborhood, then nana's and grammy and grandad's.

Pumpkins & Puppies

This past week was so much fun! I had a watch night at gymnastics, which is when my family can watch what I've learned. And mommy talked to the owner about switching me to a different night since all my friends are in the other class and they have an opening so I am happy about that. Then I had an open house at school to show off all the projects I have been working on at school. Mommy, Daddy, Cameron, Nana, Sammy, Grammy & Grandad came to see what I had done.

Oh and Cameron learned how to feed himself with a spoon, well kinda...

Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch with Grammy & Grandad and had lots of fun. They had a corn maze, animals, playground, and a hayride to where the pumpkins were. We picked some BIG pumpkins and are going to carve them soon. We got a little pumpkin for Cameron.

After the pumpkin patch mommy, daddy, me and Cameron took a drive to see PUPPIES! They are in Sedalia Missouri, which seemed like a million miles away and I kept asking when we would be there and daddy kept telling me we would be there when get there...The people that have them are very nice and we also got to see how smart and nice the puppies' parents are. They are soooo cute and I wanted all of them, but mommy said we only get one if we want a Christmas...We finally picked a name that we all liked! Hunter, since his dad's name is Gunner. We have to wait a few weeks to get him since he is only 5 weeks old. He is on the left

What A Weekend!

So Mommy and Daddy went out Friday night for a nice dinner with people mommy works with, but it was just adults, so Cameron and I stayed with Grammy & Grandad. But we were still awake when they came to get us and I could tell they were so excited that we were still up.

Then bright and early Saturday morning we got up to go on our trail ride for St. Jude Children's Hospital. And we want to thank everyone that pledged us, we raised over $500!!!

Mommy and my horse are mommy and daughter and mommy's horse got an attitude and bit her mom on the butt, so things got a little interesting, and daddy's horse was being a pain too. And then this big horse taffy tried to buck at us when we rode through the pasture where the other horses were. But all that stuff seems to scare mommy more than it does me..

Here I am cleaning out Lina's hoof...You just have to squeeze and they lift their hoof, but then you have to be careful and not get stepped, or pooped on!

Then after the trail ride we went to the fire station open house and I got to play in the new smoke house, which is like when a real house catches on fire, and then my best friends showed up so we were there for about 2 hours..

Here is my bff Hanna...

Here's me!

Finally, we topped off the day with a weenie roast and hay ride at Aunt Penny's parents' house. Daddy and me rode go carts too, but mine wasn't fast enough so I rode with daddy. I think Mommy and Daddy are wore out!

Stay tuned for our adventures this weekend...We are going to a pumpkin patch and maybe going to look at a new puppy....

Lee Dancin' Machine

Cameron and I love to dance, but sometimes I get a little crazy and knock him down, so daddy just held us so nobody got hurt. Here we are dancing to Burning down the House.

Who says boys can't play with dolls

Well it seems Cameron likes my baby doll. He loves it, kisses it and then throws it on the floor, but mainly he loves it!

All About Me

The place I take gymnastics had a float in the parade, so here I am with my "girls". Although I was on the float and missed getting the candy they throw, Daddy and Grandad made up for it and acted like children so they would get candy thrown to them.

Oh and here is a fish I caught with my Grandad. I kept saying it was 17 lb, when I meant to say 17", but daddy said it's ok to get the size wrong because most men do, when they tell their stories :)

Cameron driving

Here is Cameron driving his car in the living room. He was trying to drink his bottle at the same time, but mommy said it wasn't good to drink and drive...

Where to start

Well my mommy and daddy have been together for about a hundred years, ok maybe not that long, but mommy said they met in the 1990's, whenever that was. They are getting with times of 2008 and doing this blog so everyone can check up on us when they want. Plus we want to be cool like our new baby cousin, Summer. Since my baby brother, Cameron is just 1 year old, I think I should be in charge of the blog since I'm 7. This is Madison by the way. Cameron would just say "whassat" over and over again, so I'll make it much more interesting.

Mommy will do her best to keep it updated, but hopefully daddy will help too..

We'll start with me of course, here is a picture of me at my horse riding lesson. Her name is Lena and she is a very nice horse to ride. But I am fearless at the young age 7, unlike mommy and daddy, who are taking lessons too. Cameron is too little to ride, but he likes watching.
